Welcome to the Six Rivers Bocce Club

Bocce is one of the oldest games in the world, and one of the fastest growing sports in the United States.  Bocce is fun, easy to learn, and inexpensive to play.  It is a game for people of all ages, and of all abilities.  It can be both social and competitive.  As one bocce wag put it, "bocce takes minutes to learn, and a lifetime to perfect."  Try it once, and we are sure you will become hooked on bocce.

Local Bocce Courts Inventoried

Do you have the urge to play in new surroundings, but are not sure where?  Six Rivers Bocce Club members John Calkins, David Boyd and Bob Cox recently conducted an inventory of Humboldt's public bocce courts.  This information is now available on-line (see Local Courts), and includes location, number of courts, size, surface material, condition, and amenities, as well as photos.
